Our certification program at Body in Mind Massage Institute will help you succeed and thrive in the ever-growing massage therapy field. You will receive an extensive and inspirational education in the art and science of massage therapy as a student at BIMMI.

  • Our FULL-TIME, DAY CLASSES meet Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 9am-5pm plus two clinical weekends (based on student availability) each month for six months. 
  • Our PART-TIME NIGHT CLASSES meet Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 6pm – 10pm plus one clinical weekend (based on student availability) for 10 months.

How much does tuition cost?

  • REGISTRATION FEE (Non-Refundable) - $300 (to reserve your seat)
  • BOOKS & MATERIALS (Non-Refundable) - $440 (due 2 weeks prior to class start)
  • SUPPLIES & TOOLS (Non-Refundable) - $460 (due 2 weeks prior to class start)

HOW DO I OBTAIN MY LICENSE?

After meeting the requirements for graduation from Body in Mind Massage Institute, the School issues a Certificate of Completion. Throughout the final semester of the program, you will be prepped for the MLBEx, State of New Jersey massage therapy licensing exam, which starts the process of becoming licensed by the State of NJ. Our program exceeds the State of New Jersey’s 500-hour massage therapy licensing requirement. We offer coaching so you may confidently take and pass the MBLEx. We’ll also assist with navigating through the State’s licensing process, career placement and continuing education courses for maintaining licensure.

WHAT'S THE PAY LIKE AS A MASSAGE THERAPIST?

Earnings potential for a Licensed Massage Therapist is $30 – $50 (or more) per hour massage (including tips.) Full-time LMTs work 25-30 massage-hours per week, and part-time therapists even less. All shifts are IN DEMAND. You could be earning $750-$1,000, or more, each week, once you are licensed. Many massage therapy employers offer their full-time therapists added benefits such as paid time off, health benefits, and signing bonuses. Our Graduates usually recoup their tuition investment in about three months of working full time as a massage therapist!
