Toms River Campus: Future Dates TBD • 9:00am – 5:30pm
Presented by Jennifer O’Hagan, LMT, RH(AHG) - 1000671
This class focuses on the anterior aspects of Abdominal Therapy as created by Dr. Rosita Arvigo. You will first learn how to do this abdominal therapy on yourself, gaining a keen insight into the profound benefits of this technique, and its holistic benefits to mind, body and spirit. You will then learn how to work with your clients. We will also cover the history and lineage of this therapy, take an in-depth view of pelvic anatomy and physiology, learn common signs and symptoms of pelvic and abdominal conditions, discuss additional supportive techniques to enhance pelvic and abdominal health, while weaving in the importance of the emotional body on physical function. By the end of this class, you will be fully qualified to work with clients and to teach them an abdominal self-care massage for their continuing health improvement.
NB: When someone takes this Part 1 class, the cost of the class includes a 1-year membership in the Abdominal Therapy Collective, as well as a 1-year subscription to Visible Bodies (a great digital anatomy tool).
