West New York Campus: Thurs., June 1, 2023 • 9am-6pm

Presented by Renee Osborne

Level 1

The Cupping and Gua Sha Course gives a deep insight into the ancient uses of cupping and Gua Sha. Written from an eastern medicine perspective - this course will touch upon the earliest intended implementation of cupping/ gua sha and how it is still utilized today.

Students will learn about the meridians and acupuncture points of the body that can be stimulated with cupping. We will also cover Five Element theory and how best to approach treatment for optimal success and results.

Safe and responsible use is emphasized as well as sanitation, indications and contraindications.

Cosmetic Cupping and Gua Sha approaches beauty from the inside as well as the outside. Ancient cosmetic practices date back to over 2000 years ago in Chinese Medicine. This course incorporates the practices and principles of this medicine which endures still to this day.

Students will build upon what was learned in Cupping and Gua Sha Level 1 - Delving into how we can affect skin quality, muscle tone, circulation, detox and stimulate collagen.

This course is about optimum health that is reflected in the quality of our appearance - we cover face reading, foods and cycles of the year, and how it relates to health and beauty.

The protocol that will be instructed will elaborate on various acupressure points that influence the beauty and balance of our miraculous bodies.
