Ethics for Massage Therapists

Toms River Campus: Friday, November 18, 2022 • 3pm-5pm

Presented by Mary Adams, LMT, CYT, CLT

By definition Ethics are the standards for morally right and wrong behavior in a profession and sets the tone for implementing appropriate policies and procedures for massage professionals to ensure the clients best interests are always held at the center of their practice. As our profession evolves, so do our “best practices” and “current standards of practice.” Our industry’s professional governing bodies have written Codes of Ethics for our professional practice, and in this class we will explore those as well as the application of those in our daily work treating clients safely and ethically, especially as our profession evolves, so we are equipped and can apply current knowledge with our clients using the highest and most current standards.
