Toms River Campus – July 10, 2026 • 9AM-6PM
Presented by Nicole Davis, LMT
This foundational stonework course introduces massage therapists to the therapeutic use of hot stones, Himalayan salt stones, and cold stones. You’ll learn indications, contraindications, setup, application, and cleaning protocols while practicing hands-on techniques. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to create well-balanced stone massage treatments that promote relaxation, circulation, and therapeutic results — perfect for both spa and clinical environments.
Registrants should come dressed in comfortable clothes and be prepared to both give and receive stone massage. Students need to bring massage oil as the preferred lubricant for hot stone massage, and bring their own linens, blankets and massage supplies plus several bath and hand towels for use in the classroom.
Learning Outcomes:
- LMT will have a complete understanding of the benefits of stones and what they are used for.
- LMT will understand the importance of client intake and vetting clients for contraindications.
