The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) and Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) requires Massage Therapists to be certified in Basic CPR AED and First Aid from the American Heart Association (AHA) or a substantially similar approved course.
Proof of the current CPR AED and First Aid Certification from a course approved by the American Heart Association (AHA) or a substantially similar approved course is a requirement for applying for your license to the Massage, Bodywork and Somatic Therapy Examining Committee as well as maintaining your license.
Oceanside CPR is an AHA authorized training site as well as affiliated with the American Safety & Health Institute.
Open to the public, anyone can take it. Satisfies the requirement for L.M.T. ‘s re certification. (No CEs.) It is a two-year certification through the American Safety and Health Institute.
